●コール・ポーターがパリのリッツホテルのバーのピアノで作曲したとされる。
●１９３５年１０月、ニューヨークのインペルアル・シアター上演のミュージカル。
　「ジュビリー　（Jubilee）」　の挿入歌に使われた。
●１９３８年、アーティ・ショウが編曲し、自分のバンドで演奏し更にヒットさせた。
●日本では、 梓みちよ、越路吹雪なども、よく歌った。
