【略歴】
ピーター・ワシントン（Peter Washington　1964年8月28日～）は、アメリカ合衆国カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルス生まれのジャズ・ベーシスト。
１９８７年、アート・ブレイキーとジャズ・メッセンジャーズを経て幅広く活躍。
特に安定した技術は多くの有名ミュージシャンのアルバムへの参加が多く、常に引っ張りダコ状態。
そこ事は、アルバムでベースにピーター・ワシントンの名前があるだけで、一定水準以上というレッテルになっている。
この事は、凄いジャズ界では凄い事と言える。

【Biography】
Peter Washington (born August 28, 1964) is a jazz bassist born in Los Angeles, California, United States.
In 1987, after playing with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, he went on to have a wide-ranging career.　His particularly steady technique has led to numerous appearances on albums by many famous musicians, and he is constantly in high demand.
