　ＣＤは１９９２年１月の録音、発売元がアルファ・ジャズ（Alfa Jazz）、英語ライナーノーツなし、岩浪洋三氏による日本語解説、８曲入り。
　メンバーは「カール・アレンとマンハッタン・プロジェクツ（Carl Allen and Manhattan Projects）」。
ドラムがカール・アレン、ピアノがマルグリュー・ミラー、トランペットがニコラス・ペイトン、アルト・サックスとソプラノ・サックスがビンセント・ハーリング、べースがドゥエイン・バーノ。
この時期のアメリカの若手精鋭ミュージシャンが集められている。
演奏は正確無比なカール・アレンのドラミングに胸を借りたメンバーが味を出す。
ジャズを生んだ国アメリカの若き息吹きを味わえる。
カール・アレンの凄い所はプロデューサーとしての手腕。
多くの若手ミュージシャンに手を差しのべ、ジャズの育成に貢献した。
もう一つ嬉しい事はレーベルが日本の村井邦彦氏のアルファレコードという事。

Main Comment : Carl Allen (born April 25, 1961) is a jazz drummer and producer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States.
The CD was recorded in January 1992, released by Alfa Jazz, with no English liner notes but Japanese commentary by Yozo Iwanami, and features eight tracks. The lineup features a select group of young, elite American musicians from this era.　The performance showcases the members’ unique styles, backed by Carl Allen’s impeccably precise drumming.　You can experience the youthful energy of America, the birthplace of jazz.　What makes Carl Allen so remarkable is his skill as a producer.　He has reached out to many young musicians and contributed to the development of jazz.　Another delightful aspect is that the label is Japan’s Alpha Records, run by Kunihiko Murai.
